This is a translation for your convenience. Only the German version is legally binding.

In brief

This blog sets no cookies, uses no statistics or analytics tools and embeds no content from other providers. Fonts, images and everything else are loaded from our own server. Personal data is only processed as far as technically necessary to deliver the pages, and when you send us an email.

Hosting and server logs

This website runs on a dedicated server that we rent from Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The server is located in a data centre in Falkenstein (Saxony); your data does not leave Germany. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Hetzner pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

Each time you open a page, your browser automatically sends data to this server. The following is processed:

• IP address of the requesting device
• date and time of access
• the page or file requested
• the previously visited page (referrer), if your browser sends it
• browser type and operating system
• amount of data transferred and response status code

This data is needed to deliver the page and to keep the service secure, for example to fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and error-free operation of the website. The data is not combined with other data or analysed for advertising.

Retention period: The server does not write access logs. The data listed above is only processed in memory for the duration of each individual page request and is not stored permanently.

No cookies, no analytics

This website neither stores cookies on your device nor reads any. No audience measurement tools, advertising networks or social media plugins are used. The fonts are stored on our own server; opening a page does not connect you to Google or any other third party.

Contact by email

If you email us, we process your address and the content of your message in order to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your request relates to treatment, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We delete the data once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Please note: ordinary email is usually not end-to-end encrypted. We therefore recommend that you do not send health data such as findings or X-rays by email, but speak to us at the practice or by phone.

Links to other websites

This blog contains links, for example to the website of Zahnarztpraxis Castell or to specialist sources. You only leave this website when you click such a link. The operator of the linked site is responsible for any data processing there.

This website is delivered exclusively over encrypted HTTPS connections, indicated by the padlock icon in your browser's address bar.

Your rights

You have the right at any time to

Right to lodge a complaint

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
